The sensor is designed to constantly measure levels of glucose, lactate, urea, serum albumin, and even ammonia or alcohol in blood. Founded in 2011 by three Vizbaras brothers, Brolis Semiconductors is part of the Brolis Group—a globally active high-tech company group headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. In Lithuania, a team of doctors have invented a medical training solution based on algorithm language commonly used in aerospace engineering to break down complex operations into step-by-step schemes. In 2003, the centre was accredited as an International Training Organization. Since then, their reputation grew rapidly; in 2013 alone, the numbers of students doubled. To tackle this load, the team searched for solutions and invented medical simulation training method HybridLab. It allowed students to drill practical skills in emergency medicine independently, reduce training costs, and ease instructors’ workload.HybridLab combines instructional algorithms, e-learning, peer-to-peer teaching, and hands-on simulation practice, and is accessible 24/7.
